As some of you know, I have played at the Sad Cafe in Plaistow, NH for many years. I keep going back primarily because of the amazing support of the woman who has run it for 16 years, Linda Ard. She has always been there to greet everyone with a smile and has given countless bands their first shot at a "real gig." Unfortunately, last week, the Sad Cafe's board of directors decided to let her go. Therefore, I have decided to cancel the Oct 4th show.
I apologize to everyone who had plans to attend. Instead, I hope you will join me at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA on Sunday, Oct 6th at 1pm. I am going to be dedicating my performance to her as a thank you for all of her years of supporting young, local musicians and the local music scene. Additionally, any money made from the show will be going toward buying her a thank you gift for all of her hard work. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like a ticket to the show!
