MISSIONS: WHAT KIND OF PROMOTIONS CAN I GET INVOLVED IN?

There are two main ways you can get involved in promoting Skyler - online and offline. You can choose to do either or both of these depending on where you live and what your circumstances are. Some of you might also have special skills or contacts that you can use to help with promotions. For example, you may take frequent trips/vacations where you can promote out of your home region. You may write for a student paper or have a popular online blog where you can review Skyler's music or display his banners. You may work in a store or at a radio station which can play Skyler's music, distribute flyers or display posters, run a club night where his music can be played, or you may have design skills which you can use to make things like banners.

Always remember - if you want to earn points, then make sure you take screenshots/photos of your the task you're completing and submit a report. Your photos may appear in our STREET TEAM GALLERY!! For information on how to take a screenshot, check out our FAQ.

This mission is our primary mission for the month and is very important to Team Skyler. We should all do what we can to achieve this particular mission's goal! You can reach out to them once a month or once a day - whatever you feel like! Just make sure to send an email to streetteam@skylertunes.com with any screenshots or message about what you've been doing for the Mission of The Month. We will randomly select a few teamers to receive 50 points for doing this mission!

ONLINE MISSIONS -
- Add Skyler as a friend on Myspace
- Like Skyler as a fan on Facebook
- Follow Skyler on Twitter
- Subscribe to Skyler's Youtube Channel
- Fan Skyler on Reverbnation
- Sign up for the mailing list (1 per person) 

- Update your status about him and tagged his Facebook Page
- RSVP to one of his upcoming Facebook Events
- Share his official website link to my friends on Facebook

- Retweet Skyler's tweet (Twitter)
- Tweet about him and include @SkylerTunes (Twitter)
- Tweet a news post link from his website (Twitter)

- Submit a photo of yourself with Skyler or any members of the band for the website
- Upload concert footage on to a youtube channel or a video sharing website

- Add Skyler to your top friends/add his songs to your social-network's music playlist
- Share his videos on your myspace, facebook, twitter, livejournal, blogs, communities, message boards, and any other website that's relevant.
- Share his banners on your myspace, facebook, twitter, livejournal, blogs, communities, message boards, and any other website that's relevant.
- Design a flyer for his upcoming show or an online banner for his website for fans to use
- Create fan newsletters, unofficial fan clubs, fan sites, yahoo groups, etc.

- Write/Talk about Skyler on the forums/blogs
- Write/Talk about Skyler on the forums/blogs including Skyler's Website URL
- Write/Talk about Skyler on the forums/blogs including a banner
- Use web banners or links in your signature line on forums or e-mails
- Use your favorite lyric in your signature line and have it link back to his website
- Vote for Skyler in polls, opinion surveys, favourites lists, etc as they are announced.

- Contact/Email/Call local, national, and/or online radio stations to play his music.
- Twitter/Facebook local, national, and/or online radio stations to play his music.
- Successfully get them to play a track on air on a station that wasn't playing his music.

- Email local newspapers, high school/college papers, and fanzines and ask if they could do an article/music review.

- Email magazines, morning shows, late night shows, talk shows, etc. to interview him.

OFFLINE MISSIONS -
Earn points from the online missions to redeem stickers and/or posters or make your own! Distribute promo anywhere where you feel they will attract the attention of people who may enjoy Skyler's music. See the FAQ for a list of places to pass them out.

- Pass out flyers (Create your own/print one of ours that promotes a show near you) 
- Hang up a Skyler poster at a store (i.e. front door, window, front counter, bulletin board, etc.)

- Wear your favorite Skyler’s shirt proudly while you're out and about, or make your own. Tell all of your friends, coworkers, and relatives about the Skyler, his album, his shows, his website, etc. Submit a photo of yourself in the tee while you're out and about (i.e. at a party, the mall, in the park, etc.)

OTHER WAYS TO HELP -
- Call and/or go into your local record stores and ask for Skyler’s CDs. Maybe you know someone who works there that can help? You could politely suggest display ideas to the store owner/employee if it isn't!

- Buy Skyler's CDs (don't make illegal copies) for friends and family. They make great gifts! (don't make illegal copies!!)

- Bring friends and family to Skyler’s shows when he is in your area!
