HOW TO HOST A HOUSE CONCERT WITH SKYLER!
We always hear a lot from the fans who want to see Skyler perform but are unable to attend a show. Sometimes things get in the way such as school/work the next day or there's no available transportation to get to the venue or maybe there's never a show near you! Well, what if you could have Skyler come to your house instead?! What if you could host your own private concert featuring Skyler in your living room? This can happen and it's called a "House Concert."
A House Concert is a great way for you to host a concert (and watch for free!) in your very own home. All you need is space in your living room (or an appropriate location in the house) for Skyler and all your guests. You pick the date of the show. You create the guest list and invite the people you want.
*If you are looking to have Skyler perform for a non-house concert event such as festivals, fairs, weddings, graduations, birthday parties, school functions, etc., please use the BOOKING form. A house concert is STRICTLY a concert in your house with NO celebration or ANY occasions associated with it.
Here's how it works: Just like any party, it takes a little planning to make it a success.
Step 1 - You meet the minimum requirements:
- You live in one of the designated counties/areas (see current registration schedule below)
- OR You have at least 500 POINTS with his street team (See PRIZES) and live within a 2-3 hour drive from York, ME.
- AND should be able to obtain an attendance of at least 15 people (excluding yourself) at the house concert with a suggested minimum admission fee of $10 per person

Step 2 - Send an email to book a House Concert:
- Email anna@skylertunes.com with the following information:
Step 3 - Once a House Concert date has been BOOKED and CONFIRMED via email:
Invite your friends! Think of about twenty or thirty friends or more who either already like Skyler's music or to whom you would like to introduce him to. Hand them a flyer or send out an online invite. The invitation should include: "In order to have a personal concert and sit within twenty feet of the artist in a smoke free environment we are asking for a $10 admission per person." Start promoting as soon as your concert has been booked and confirmed.
*Team Skyler will NOT publicize these events on our website or social networks. House concerts are private. However, if you want us to promote your concert and are willing to open your home and publicize your home address, we can promote it on our end too. This is up to your discretion. We will need an email stating you allow this as well as a phone call to confirm. Keep in mind, you will need to be able to accommodate the attending guests in your home space.
Step 4 - How can I get fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, etc. people in my living room?
Again, it takes a little planning - Move the coffee table into a bedroom, borrow some folding chairs, use the kitchen chairs, put pillows on the floor. Give the performer a space in a corner. Sometimes the performer can be set up in a spot where he can be seen from two rooms at once, so you can set up two separate seating areas.
Step 5 - What else do I need to do?
Make sure to inform your guests to arrive ON TIME. Serve some beverages, take up the admission fee and additional donations.. Get everyone into their seats before the concert starts. Now, thank everyone for coming, introduce Skyler and sit back and enjoy the most satisfying concert of your life. Skyler plays for 45 minutes or so, sells some merch, meets all your guests, and then your guests can go home within a decent travel time.
If you do not see your area listed or have any questions/comments, please email anna@skylertunes.com to find out when your area will be added and/or for more information.
