York, Maine is a long ways away from Nashville. That hasn't kept up-and-coming artist Skyler from pursuing his dreams in country music. He has been performing since his early elementary school days and from there, he learned to play multiple instruments and released his first original CD before high school. Before graduation, he released four more CDs, was involved in 20 theatre productions, and played over 300 gigs. He later studied for a year at Berklee College of Music. His latest EP, "Take You Away," features great new songs from Skyler, who is often called the guy version of Taylor Swift. Pretty cool compliment to have.
We met up with Skyler during a Nashville visit for an interview and exclusive performance. Watch the interview as Skyler talks about the new EP, why he is simply "Skyler," then stay tuned for an exlusive performance of "Take You Away" and "Stephanie," two of the tracks on his EP.
